Job Posting – Pic Mobert First Nation: Short Term Hockey Rink Maintenance and Recreation Worker

The Pic Mobert First Nation has an immediate opening for someone to do the combined jobs of

  •  making the ice / maintaining the Pic Mobert hockey rink, and;
  • running some winter recreation programming with the children and youth

The position is short term (35 hours a week) to March 31, 2018. The position reports to the Health and Social Director, and is part of the Health and Social Team.

Applicants should have:

  • related experience;
  • be genuinely motivated to work with young people in sports and recreation;
  • good communicator; and
  • motivator and coach.

Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening test. A current, satisfactory criminal record check, with a focus on vulnerable persons, is mandatory for employment.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and be available to work outside of usual working hours, typically in afternoons and evenings, from Tuesday- Saturday, with some flexibility based on program needs.
